Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website. It is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we’ve done

• Every page works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
• The mobile menu traps focus while open, closes with the Escape key and returns you to where you were.
• Text and controls have been chosen to meet WCAG AA colour contrast, and text can be enlarged without losing content.
• Photos have descriptive text alternatives; purely decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
• Forms have visible labels, clear error messages and helpful hints.
• Scrolling effects and animations follow your device’s “reduce motion” setting by default, and an “Animations” button on every page lets you turn them on or off yourself. All content remains available without them.
• The site works at mobile, tablet and desktop sizes, and has no flashing content.

Known limitations

• Some external websites we link to (Tropic, Weleda, Health Creation and social media) are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
• This website was checked with automated testing and manual keyboard and screen-size checks; it has not yet had an independent audit by an accessibility specialist.
